Events

Here you'll find the events I have run throughout the years, that I am proud of! I have learnt heaps from being involved in youth leadership and AUT STEM Women (ASW) exec team. I learnt how to work in a team, navigate through disagreements and conflict and deal with high responsibility.

International Women's Day

12th March 2026

My second ASW event and my first event leading as Co-president with my partner president, Kelly. I was responsible for creating the panel questions and liaising with the speakers.

International Women's Day is such an important day, and we wanted to do it justice! We reached out to our sponsors, who were super keen on being on the panel. They spoke on their experience and gave us students advice.

Engineering Panel

22nd May 2025

My first AUT STEM Women (ASW) event that I led! From start to finish, I planned the questions for the panel and coordinated 5 speakers from different engineering specialties (two software, mechanical, construction and electrical).

Morning Market

31st August 2025

I was responsible for this fundraising event with the help of two other youth leaders. I was mainly in charge of organising logistics with the church office, gathering donations from parishioners and delegating our bigger youth leader team in their roles.

We raised $4000 for the youth ministry!

Summer Camp '22

January 2022

I was camp coordinator for the first "Life Teen Summer Camp" for St Joseph's Takapuna. I worked with a small team (4 others) to create an unforgettable experience of 5 days. I oversaw the planning stages and ensured everything ran smoothly during camp.

As it says in the article, we had to plan this camp in two weeks due to another camp we were meant to attend being cancelled due to COVID-19.

Tu Kahikatea Award 2021

Not event-related, but youth-related - I received this award recognising my contribution to youth ministry at St Joseph's Church in the 'Leadership Development' category, awarded by the Bishop!
